I'm back from hiatus; hope you all have been well. I've been doing some heavy observational work recently to refine my character drawing style (people in the park and in the subway).

I think I want to get Illustrator
Hey friends/watchers,
I have been toying with the idea of getting Adobe Illustrator. I hear its much better for coloring and blending colors than Photoshop, which is what I have been using. I don't know if I need it, but I think it would be cool to try. Thoughts?
Anyway, in the midst of second-year final examinations. This seems to be the time I get the most art done. Its either because I don't have classes or because I am just procrastinating. Whatever, summer will be here soon. Lord, I can't wait.

Hey there,
Hope you are doing well, watchers and visitors! Thanks for sticking with me, though I haven't posted in a few months. I am hoping to get more art within the next week or so.
Been on a little hiatus because gearing up for my 2L year at law school...so there's that. X[ Also, working on a Supreme Court Brief that is taking up most of my time.
Otherwise, I've started to try and improve my facial drawing skills. One way in which I do this is to sketch people in magazines and pay attention to what makes their faces unique and different so I can expand my mental database of techniques.

Hey guys/gals,
I made that "Andy" avatar when I was 16 or so and it needs to change. Any suggestions? I think I have come up with a new icon idea. It would involve a "&" symbol combined with a cursive "E" (to form &-E (Andy)). I will upload a temporary version of this. I have just forgotten how I even got it to be animated? Some Adobe program, probably...
Anyway, 2nd semester of lawschool, and I'm hanging in there. I want some more time to paint, but I may have to wait until the weekend (read: spring break) until I have time to do so.
